Stomptober Steps Challenge
Nicola Taylor
My Story
We’re the Protection Distribution team at The Exeter, and we’re on a mission to raise £1000 for the South West MS Therapy Centre, a fantastic organisation that’s been supporting people with MS and other neuro-degenerative diseases since 1983. They provide essential services like specialist physiotherapy and oxygen therapy in a unique barochamber.
This October, we’re taking on the STOMP-TOBER STEPS Challenge! Our goal is to raise £500 through donations, and with the generous support of The Exeter, who will match our funds up to £500, we aim to reach a total of £1000.
Did you know there are an estimated 150,000 people in the UK living with MS? To honor each of them, our team will walk 150,000 steps every day throughout October, aiming for a grand total of 4,650,000 steps!
Walking is one of the simplest yet most effective forms of exercise, offering numerous physical, mental, and emotional benefits. It’s a wonderful way to support our health and well-being, something The Exeter strongly advocates for.
